The location was super convenient, with easy access to the city and delicious Vietnamese restaurants nearby. The pin locks made entering the hotel a breeze. The cleanliness and comfort exceeded my expectations, and it was clear that they put effort into making my stay enjoyable. The bar/lounge area served craft beers and tasty house-made pizzas. The friendly hostess/bartender made me feel welcome. a great experience in a lively neighborhood.

Service is good.. Crew is helping us to get another hotel due to system issue, cant retrieve our previous booking.. Thanks alot

Since the bar is only downstair, its hard to get sleep before midnight..

Located 800 feet from the hotel, Sherpaz Restaurant was a good choice to eat. Ideal base for a weekend in Melbourne.

The room was spotless and well-maintained, with no dust or dirt anywhere. The bed was comfortable and the blankets were in perfect condition. The hotel location was great, with easy access to St. Vincent's Hospital. The bar and restaurant downstairs provided convenient dining options. The code system for room access was a nice security feature. Despite the noise from the main road, the extra glass helped to minimize the disturbance. The room had a fridge and tea/coffee facilities. The step down in Room 7 was clearly marked with a sign. I enjoyed my stay at the Baden Powell Hotel.

The lack of milk in the room was inconvenient if the bar was closed. The noise from the main road required the use of earplugs.

Decent location, 20 min walk from CBD and 10 min walk to CBD free loop tram and paid trams right outside the door. Rooms clean and comfortable. Bar downstairs friendly.

Bar downstairs a little noisy quite late into the evening.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean The building is old but well refurbished. It is close to public transport.

This is a pub, not a hotel. There is not 24 hour reception as listed, except they call, ring this mobile number after hours as 24 hour reception.

Free WiFi is a nice bonus. This hotel is conveniently located just a 20-minute drive from the airport. 🎉

The main reason for my staying at the hotel was because it was handy to the Peter Mac Cancer centre where i was having treatment. The price was excellent as I was not looking for all the "bells and whistles" as I only needed the basic bed and cup of tea. I think it was ideal for my purposes and will be staying there again when I return to Peter Mac for more treatment. I have also recommended it to Peter Mac accommodation staff for their consideration when advising patients about accommodation.

The staff was very friendly and ready to help. The restaurant-bar under the hotel is very nice.

The first room we got had no bathroom door, which is rather uncomfortable if you travel as couple. The wall between rooms was paper thin, so we could hear all what happened in the room next to us. The hotel also didn't have our Booked.net reservation, so we were lucky to get a room.

I had a great New Year's stay! The location was super convenient - just a short walk to public transportation and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Plus, the room was a great value and had a cozy atmosphere. I really appreciated the free parking and relaxing in the lounge area by the fire.

The wifi was a bit spotty and there were a couple of maintenance issues - nothing major, but it would have been nice if they had been addressed right away. But overall, a great experience and I would definitely consider staying here again.

Staff were friendly, room was very clean, the pub itself was lovely, location was excellent - close to shops, bars and restaurants. Late access door was very convenient. Some people might find the street noise annoying as the room overlooks busy Victoria Parade but it didn't really bother us.

We r very thankful to the hotel about its understanding n care, eg. we checking in suppose to b 4pm but we arrived 11.30am due to city hotel check out 10am, our luggate allow to brought in hotel earlier, somemore we check out 11am but our flight at night , hotel lets us kept our luggate till 9pm for taxi to take us to airport, tq v. much. If possible,we wil recommend to friends n relatives if they tends to go to Melbourne.

If can provide or arrange with custom's own cost cab to Victoria St. for dinner n secondly sent to tram station or city in the morning much more better, added value to hotel n customer as well!

Great location close to public transport stops and right outside the free tram zone, allowing us to easily explore this city. Clean and comfortable room with helpful staff always easy to contact via phone and keypad entry - no need to worry about losing keys.

Everything was spot on, although the bathroom shower could benefit from some attention. Nonetheless, this did not detract from our enjoyable stay.

I really really was wrapped about the spa bath!

I was extremely disappointed that the spa bath didn't have a plug so that I could use it!

The BPH is a wonderful value for the money. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the hotel is centrally located. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.
